NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
The Culpeper County School Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed fiscal 2025 budget for Culpeper County Public Schools on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the County Administration Office, 302 N. Main Street. Parents and citizens are encouraged to provide input regarding their views of the educational needs of our students and priorities of our school division.
The School Board believes strongly that community input is vital to the budget process. All concerned Culpeper County citizens are encouraged to attend the School Budget Public Hearing.
Admissions for the 2024/2025 school year are now open for CCPS students! Go to www.culpepertec.org and click on admissions to register/apply for CTEC courses.
This evening, February 19th, from 5-7 pm, we will also have an open registration event here at CTEC for students and families to come and register/apply in person.
Today was a special day at CTEC! 18 Dual Enrolled students received $500 scholarships toward their dual enrollment tuition via the CTEC Pride scholarship program. Our Valentine's Day Nexus Night cooking class, hosted by the CTEC Culinary students of The Blaze Kitchen, is back! February 9, 2024, at 5 PM. The event is limited to the first 20 to register. Call 540-423-6504 to reserve your space!
We had approximately 150 people visit us this past Monday evening at our CTEC open house! Perspective students from both high schools came for a presentation by our principal, Mr. Summerscales, toured the building, talked with our instructors, and met with counselors from both high schools. We also had students from middle schools that are already interested in what we have to offer, along with elementary students that were excited about CTEC after they visited when we hosted fifth graders a couple of months ago.
